Center-Based ABA

Get Started!

Intensive Center-Based Intervention Program

At BBLC, our center-based ABA program provides full or half-day individualized therapy for children up to age 6. Our centers are structured, nurturing environments made to support learning and emotional well-being. We meet each child where they are; honoring their individuality, building on their strengths, and helping them grow in ways that feel safe, joyful, and meaningful.

A Day at BBLC

At BBLC, every routine and activity is designed to help children grow. Our center-based ABA programs blend structured learning with natural environment teaching (NET), so skills are practiced in meaningful, everyday moments.

  • Children practice independence by greeting staff, putting away belongings, and following morning routines.

  • Snack is a chance to request items and express wants and needs, spend time with peers, and practice turn-taking in a natural setting.

  • Through games, storytelling, and guided play, children learn cooperation, problem-solving, and communication with peers.

  • Songs, stories, and group activities help children build attention, imitation, and social engagement.

  • Art projects build fine motor skills, encourage self-expression, and promote following directions.

  • Most children participate in one-to-one instruction in a structured environment throughout their day, targeting communication, what we call “learning-to-learn skills,” such as attending to instructional materials and following simple instructions.

  • Daily living skills like toileting, handwashing, dressing, and cleaning up are taught and reinforced across the day.

  • Active games support coordination, self-regulation, and teamwork while keeping learning fun and engaging.

  • What makes center-based ABA special at BBLC is how skills are woven throughout the day. From transitions to play, every moment is an opportunity to learn.

Integrated Support Services

Clients may also be referred for speech therapy, feeding therapy, or occupational therapy through our trusted partner, Integrated Center for Child Development (ICCD). Your child’s RBT can accompany them to these sessions to provide additional support, ensure continuity across providers, and help reinforce new skills. This collaboration also gives children the chance to practice and generalize what they’re learning during ABA sessions, making their progress even more meaningful and lasting.

  • Helps children with difficulties related to eating, such as food aversions, oral motor challenges, and expanding food variety and tolerance.

  • Supports the development of communication skills, including speech clarity, language comprehension, expression, and social communication.

  • Focuses on building independence in daily activities by improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and independence with self-care routines.

Available at our Newton and Canton locations.
